We are the descendants of John Byce (spell it Bice, or even Buys, if you prefer), but we are primarily the  descendants of his son John Franklin, and his half-Mexican wife. Mary Thomasine "Minnie" Abbott. John Franklin's  older sister Sarah and her Portuguese husband George Silveria are also represented.

What's important is -- Who are you? We would like to know you and your spouse, who your children and  grandchildren are, where you live, and how we are related. This site can tell us, but only if you put in your own  information. You can do that by signing in and clicking on the link above to see your family tree. You can also select  Tree from the View menu above at any time. Click on any + sign to add or edit information.

This is your site.  You want to know the rest of the family and they want to know you. Add as much or as little as  you like.  Just remember, if you don't add your information, your family won't be here.

This is a family site. Family members will be given password access so you can edit your own family information --  parents, spouse, siblings, and children. You will not be able to edit someone outside your immediate family. If you  are family and don't have access, click the link above to request an invitation. Be sure to tell us just how you are  related. Guests are welcome, but they will not be able to see the information for living family members. This is to  protect the guilty and make the innocent feel secure.
